Industry Affiliations
A particularly critical requirement for a small company is exposure. Small technology companies need to be aware of leading developments in their field which can help advance their own products. Equally important is for small companies to improve their exposure to larger enterprises with potential for financing or acquisition. CIVC industry affiliation accelerates the success of portfolio companies.
CIVC is affiliated with the world-leading Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems (CSE), providing portfolio companies with visibility into a wide range of sustainable energy technology professionals.
Sponsors, among the leaders in their fields, interact with portfolio companies on a regular basis.
CIVC has extensive contacts with the cleantech venture capital community, assisting portfolio companies with ongoing financing as well as encouraging opportunities for M&A. We provide quarterly opportunities for portfolio companies to pitch their ideas to funding sources.
As a spin-off from the North Shore Technology Council, CIVC provides portfolio companies with access to a wide array of high tech, cleantech and biotech companies. Though the NSTC organization, opportunities for mentoring and consulting are available with some of the CEOs and executives of established companies in these fields.
